Tragedy strikes local family on I-10

Major news outlets covered a very serious accident Sunday on I-10 east of Quartzsite that had an impact in Parker. A local family were hit when a semi truck veered across the median and into their flow of traffic. 7 people were killed, according to azcentral.com. Some Town of Parker residents will be out of water for a few hours this evening. Parker Police Chief Rod Mendoza told Parker Live a water main break has water shut off between Agency Road and 16th Street between Laguna and Palo Verde Avenues. Local woman celebrates silver medal anniversary
