    Third Comment Writing Workshop Scheduled

More From Shane Miller, Parker 4-Wheelers, Secretary:

Havasu desperately needs the ATV, motorcycle & side by side community to unite and map their trails (routes) The off road community is supporting Map D due to it having less closures. Map C is the preferred map of the BLM, THIS MAP CLOSES 75% OF THE TRAILS. Route closures=Closed Desert. This will financially impact …our community. There will be another workshop held on September 30th at Schlotzsky’s, please show up to support your community and keep your trails open.

The workshop will be held in Lake Havasu at Schlotzsky’s on September 30th from 6-8 pm. This workshop will focus on what BLM is currently doing with land closures in Havasu and how you can write an effective comment to help keep our public lands open. Schlotzsky’s is located at: 2144 Mcculloch Blvd Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403. They will have food and drinks available during the workshop. For more information on the Havasu Travel Management Plan Click here.

Also, there will be a webinar available for those that cannot attend this session. It is very important that the comments be coposed in a certain format so as not to get “ignored”.

Amy Granat will be hosting our second and final webinar workshop. This webinar will enable you to write effective comments to keep your Public Lands Public. Amy and myself will be available after the webinar to answer any questions you may have. To sign up for the webinar send an email to Amy amygranat@yahoo.com and she will add you to the list and will send you all the information you need. The webinar will take place on your computer so you can be anywhere in the world to be involved.
